Vaduz serves as Liechtenstein’s administrative heart despite its small size compared to nearby Schaan.
The city’s character centers on government and cultural institutions rather than population.
Visitors can take the Vaduz Citytrain for a 35-minute loop through the historic core, vineyards, and residential areas. Peak visiting season runs May through September when hiking trails and cycling routes along the Rhine Valley are accessible.
